Pleinair drawing for architects

Sketching has always played a significant part in my architectural practice—the freedom you can experience after hours of technical drawings and modeling.

It brings value to your projects in presentations, you can quickly show the evolution of your idea on paper.

But for me, practicing sketching is more about relaxation, where no one is judging you. All you need to know is basics of applying shadows and perspective, which I explain in the video and the photo above.

I love plein air drawings, when you combine walking, photography and quick sketching, capturing scenes you like. It's the best way to practice drawing while being at your favourite spot in the town or nature.

Just grab a pencil, paper, cutter and erazer, that will be enough.
